a Birthday Party, Covid-19 Style
In a nice diversion from the seemingly endless stream of car parades since the start of social isolation, this family rented an ice cream truck and enjoyed socially distant ice cream for their son’s birthday. Indicative of the times, there was a table with plenty of hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and handmade masks for guests to take as pandemic party favors.
It felt so good to be there to document the festivities; this was only the second session I’ve shot since February. And despite the new weirdness of life, it was great to see how resilient the kids were. They seemed to have no problem wearing masks while running around playing, and then going off on their own to eat their ice cream(s) without a mask.
Are you interested in having me document your days, but worried about having a photographer in your home? Or spending a full day with someone outside of your family? Fear not! I’ve added a new session length: the NANO day-in-the-life (an hour and a half of coverage). It’s the perfect length to capture a snippet of your life, your favorite outdoor shenanigans, upcoming holidays traditions, or what have you!
Feel free to reach out to discuss any ideas/questions you may have!
